Rural Enterprise Project Feasibility on Charcoal briquette production. (2020)
A technical and socio-economic feasibility study of charcoal briquette production was performed at Pigu within the Savelugu Municipality of Northern Region, Ghana, by the use of equipment such as; Biolizers, Mixer and Pelleting Machine to produce Charcoal Briquette and Agricultural waste and other combustible materials.

MILLYSDEC initiated an alternative livelihood project for Pigu community in the Savelugu Municipality of the Northern region of Ghana. A capacity building Project that provide charcoal burners with alternative means of charcoal briquettes production for livelihood to help conserve the natural forest or trees.
USAID Feed the Future Northern Ghana Governance Activity. (2016-2021)
USAID awarded the consortium of CARE International in Ghana (CARE), Action Aid Ghana (AAG), SEND, and West Africa Network for Peacebuilding, Ghana (WANEP-Ghana) the Northern Ghana Governance Activity (NGGA) under a Cooperative Agreement for a 5-year implementation period. This capacity building intervention covers 28 target MMDAs in the Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regions of Ghana. CARE International in Ghana is the consortium leader. Each consortium member leads in the design and technical stewardship of a particular project component in which it has proven superior technical expertise.
The activity aimed to increase the capacity of Ghana’s decentralized agricultural structures at the regional and district levels, improved accountability and performance efficiency of these decentralized agricultural structures, build community consensus, and strengthen civil society’s demand for better service delivery in agriculture in partnership with the private sector. The activity also had the related purpose of enabling government and civil society to more effectively mitigate conflicts related to agriculture and natural resource management.
Good Governance And Human Rights Project. (2009-2012)
MILLYSDEC in partnership with IBIS West Africa implemented Good Governance and Human Rights within the Kpandai District in Northern Region of Ghana.
The focus of the project was on the rights of the Girl child to Basic formal Education. The project targeted the enrolment and retention of girls at the basic schools in the Kpandai district.
Volunteer Programs and Placements (2008 Till Date)
From 2008 MILLYSDEC started Volunteer programs by placing volunteers in Communities, Day care centers, Basic schools, Junior High Schools, other Partner NGO’s and health institution to work with. We also go on tourism visits, to important place in Ghana and Cultural centers for traditional drumming and dancing and other Art performances.
Training of youth in ICT, Dressmaking and Hairdressing.( 2008)
In 2006 the MILLYSDEC initiated its own project by training youth on computer training and other vocational training. The programme equips young people with information on computer skills, dressmaking and hairdressing to be self-independent in the society.
It is designed to provide them with the requisite vocational skills that will make them self-employed and can earn their daily income.
Advocate on Gender & HIV/AIDS Prevention (2006)
MILLYSDEC also was selected by Nanumba south and North to advocate on Gender & HIV/AIDS prevention education in five communities each from the two districts. This advocacy includes Social drama, video documentary show, radio messages, advocacy fora, community-wide for a, visual posters
Advocacy Training on the rights of people living with HIV/AIDs (2006)
This year the Organization won a project from Nanumba North District Assembly to advocate on the rights of people living with HIV/AIDs in the society and given loans to them for income generating activities. This also includes, radio messages, advocacy fora, community-wide for a, house-to-house campaign and visual posters.
Mobilized and sensitized (10) communities to own and manage the facility, take community-based hygiene and Sanitation (2005)
In 2006 Nanumba South District Assembly rewarded us a contract. The contract also was to animate, mobilized and sensitized (10) communities to own and manage the facility, take community-based hygiene and sanitation awareness and raise funds to meet their operation and maintenance.
Advocacy training for behavior change for community development (2004)
In 2004 the MILLYSDEC won a project from Nanumba North District Assembly and Ghana AIDS Commission to advocate for behavior change communication which include, social drama, video documentary show, radio messages, advocacy fora, community-wide for a, visual posters. This project was supervisor and monitored by the District Assembly.
Mobilization and sensitization of (10) communities on Family Reproductive Health (2004)
MILLYSDEC in 2004, the Nanumba South District Assembly awarded a Project to the Organization to operational experience again in the field offering partner organization service. The contract was to animate mobilized and sensitized (10) communities on their family reproductive health issues and community-based hygiene and sanitation awareness in the communities.

MILLYSDEC was selected from Nanumba South District to be a focal organization to track girl child education and inaugurate District Education Team for all as a member of Northern Network for Education and Development (NNED).
Drew Action Plan for HIV/AIDs programme in the Nanumba South District Assembly District (2004)
In 2005 Nanumba South District Assembly rewarded us a contract. The contract also was to draw strategies and District wide action plan for the HIV/AIDs programme in the District.
